Let’s call all of that gold you earned “political capital“…and you have a lot of it! I’m asking those of you with an interest and a passion in bringing out the tremendous economic and cultural future that Mason City and North Iowa could have. We will be the new drivers of this political machine, and we will share and show them (local governments, North Iowa Corridor, the Chamber of Commerce, local media, etc.) how to create, design and grow a 21st century, livable community for the young and young at heart. Let’s join together to create a new political force. We’ll shoot for Thursday, June 9th at 6pm at Rancho Deluxe, 500 2nd St NE. Let’s roll.
More later…MFW
Greetings from San Francisco!
Max:
John & I have returned home, but our heartfelt interest has remained in Mason City.
We attended Rev. Chuck Kelsy’s Ideas meeting two weeks ago. We’ve thought about MC and what could work through community home grown efforts. we’d like to participate in your meeting, or at least offer our suggestions.
May we have your email address to forward our proposal to you, for review and perhaps submission.
By the way your rock garden is f’ ing fantastic! Knocked us out – Love it!
Thank you for your time. Best, Neale + John

Exactly YOUNG at Heart! Max your progressive thinking sets apart the boring climate of our current managers in Mason City. Although getting there.. throwing up a few statues makes not a progressive scene, nor does the thoughts of these managers of late.
Now throw up a GARDEN packed with visuals and definitely the happenings all across America makes for a DESTINATION !
We suspect you have tons of great more ideas to allow MC to be cool again.
Keep up your hard work and efforts for Mason City!
Give em hell Weav!
